Q: I have a question about a product. Who should I call for assistance?

A: Our friendly customer service team has easy access to our products at all times and will be happy to answer your questions about fabric, color, style, delivery, size or anything! Q: How do I find product(s) I'm looking for?

A: You can shop by Brand, by Department, or use our Search function if you happen to know the style/item number.

Q: How do I know if a product I see on your site is in stock?

A: When you choose an item, you will be prompted to choose a color and/or size.  Once you use the pull down menu to make your selection our site will connect to our vendor’s warehouse to check for stock availability – giving you instant knowledge about stock levels.

Q: The item I want shows stock – when will I receive my order?

A: Although our system shows stock, it may not be our warehouse stock levels.  We may have to order from our vendor to get you your order and that process can take between 2-10 business days.  Any longer and we will notify you of backorders or late shipments.  Other factors that affect your shipment are the addition of embroidery and the distance needed to travel from our shipping warehouse to you.  If time is of essence, please call 1-800-222-8164 to speak to a customer service representative and we will try to make special accommodations if we can.

Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?

A: Yes, sales tax is collected for delivery in the states of Louisiana and Alabama.

Q: How do I complete a purchase online?

A: After making your selection, press the checkout button.  If not signed in you will be prompted to make an account or to sign in.  Fill out all billing and shipping information and submit.  You should receive an e-mail from us shortly after creating an account and after creating an order.  Please check you e-mail folders and filters just in case our e-mail lands in your junk folder.

Q: Is shopping online at with Uniforms by Bayou secure?

A: Yes, shopping online with Uniforms by Bayou is secure. When you see a padlock in the lower left hand corner of you browser (or on the right in the address bar for some browsers) and the URL begins with "https" The page you are on is secure.

Q: Do you accept payroll deduction?

A: In our retail store we do, but not online currently.  Please contact us by e-mail at  customerservice@uniformsbybayou.com or call us at 1-800-222-8164. Our customer service hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m CST. to 6:00 p.m CST.

Q: Can I buy a gift card online?

A: No, currently our site is not set up for gift card purchases.  To purchase a gift card either go to one of our five locations or call us at 1-800-222-8164.

Q: I want to order for a large group – can I receive special pricing?

A: That depends.  But if you plan on having your group order through our website we make it easy!  Each member of your group will receive a code they can use for their special pricing and a list of all the items they are allowed to buy.  The group feature is great for offices with dress codes.  For more information please call us at 1-800-222-8164.

Q: I am with a group, how do I sign in and see our group pricing?

A: Sign in or create your account as you normally would – then go to Group Sign In and type in the code you were given from your employer or school.   While signed in to a group you will only see the items your group is allowed to purchase.  To see the rest of our site you will have to click the “Group Sign Out” button to continue as a regular customer.

Q: Can I order online without a credit card?

A: We can currently only accept online orders placed with a major credit card - unless your linked account is set for terms/billing.  (If you have an account with terms/billing you will have to call us to turn on this option for use on the web store.)

Q: Can I phone, fax or e-mail my order?

A: No matter how you like to shop, placing your order with Uniform by Bayou is easy! Although we use a secure server to protect your personal information, we understand that not all customers are comfortable using a credit card online.

Order by phone: Call our convenient toll-free phone number at 1-800-222-8164, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m CST. to 6:00 p.m CST.

Order from our catalog by fax: Fax your completed order form anytime, to 1-800-388-0234. Remember to include all item, pricing and shipping information on your order form. Also include daytime and evening telephone numbers so we can contact you if we have any questions about your order (we will not use your phone number for any other purpose).  If you’re ordering for a hospital or Institution, simply fax or mail us an authorized purchase order and we will confirm it's receipt within 24 hours. Please provide your fax number for confirmation.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON ORDERING VIA E-MAIL: Please do not submit your order or any personal information, especially credit card information, via e-mail. E-mail is not secure and your data can be exposed or intercepted rather easily. For this reason we do not accept orders via e-mail.

Q: Can I save my shopping cart if I'm not ready to check out?

A: If your browser is set to accept cookies, your shopping cart will be saved automatically if you leave our site without completing a purchase (or if your browser or computer crashes). To retrieve your saved items, access our web site from the same computer you used when you added the items to your cart, and click on the view “My Cart” link on the top menu bar of most pages on our site. Q: What is your return policy?

A: We accept returns up to 30 days of purchase on items not worn, washed or embroidered.  Sorry but embroidered garments cannot be returned.  A 20% restocking fee may also apply to certain items.
